“Hyundai Negotiates with North Korea” say Korean Translators

Kim Jong Il, North Korea’s dictator, recently reached out to a South Korean conglomerate in order to improve diplomatic relations between North and South Korea.  According to a Korean Translation service, the dictator met with officials of the Hyundai car manufacturer to discuss the possibility of re-starting a profitable tourism program between North and South Korea.  a year ago, a program which allowed South Koreans to visit a popular mountain resort in the North was suspended when a South Korean tourist was shot and killed by a North Korean soldier.  In the meeting with Hyundai officials, Kim Jong Il promised that this type of incident would never happen again.  Meanwhile, the government of South Korea sent a message to North Korea and to Hyundai stating that Hyundai has no authority to make policy.
