medical transcription equipment

In the Mac vs PC argument, often times it comes down to user preference, but there are a lot of industries where having a Mac just isn’t going to cut it.   For example, a lot of medical transcription equipment will only work with a PC.  It’s kind of a small industry so most manufacturers only produce drivers to work with PCs.  Most of the stuff that plugs into a computer uses a USB connection which is universal whether you use a PC, Mac, or Linux Box, but it’s always the drivers that will get you.  If you really want to use a Mac because you like it better, then make sure you get Boot Camp so you can dual boot, you’ll need to because of the aforementioned driver issues.
