Robbed blind
My friends and I took a trip over to Thailand this summer and spend the first part of our vacation in the crazy capital of Bangkok. I learnt my first lesson here of not to trust strangers in a foreign place. Some girl comes up to me in a bar allegedly having trouble with her new phone and she needs me to show me how to text message. I happily oblige and to thank me she buys me a drink. Long after she disappears I realised she has well and truly pick pocketed me and that drink cost me nearly two hundred dollars!
