Don’t Buy External Hard Drives
If you need extra storage or backup capabilities for your computer, don’t buy external hard drives unless you want maximum flexibility. An external drive can be plugged and unplugged from your computer (or multiple computers) and carried with you wherever you go. It’s designed to withstand the rigors of transporting it from location to location so you can easily transfer files from computer to computer. But, it’s not only convenient, it also protects your confidential or sensitive files from people who might use your computer from time to time and you can use it to back up your internal drive so if you ever have a computer catastrophe, you’re still got your files.
