Meaning and purpose of De-ionized water system
Water purification is done by many methods. Starting with simple netted filters and candle filters which are fitted directly to the water taps the water purification industry has come a long way. Today practically every household is worried about the non-availability of pure potable water. Many industries need pure water for their operations. A deionized water system is a water purifying system designed to remove most of the dissolved ion and mineral contents and supply pure water. It is also known as DI system in short. It is to be remembered that this system does not remove any virus or bacteria from water.
