Good But Not Great

If you want to truly excel in baseball pitching, you have to completely master several different pitching grips. Unfortunately for me, the only pitch I could master was the two seam fast ball. Granted, I threw it well, sometimes hitting 80 mph. However, that just wasn’t good enough to take me very far in baseball. I did, however, become a mean little league coach. I enjoy the youngster’s enthusiasm for the game and a simpler frame of mind than the way it was when I was in high school ball. My son is my biggest fan and thinks I’m the greatest. How much better could life be?
