Our Second Careers, Fishing and Quilting
Last year I went down and checked out everglades fishing charters. I am retiring in three months and have considered opening a charter business as my second career. I love to be out on the water and I love to fish so why not spend my time doing what I enjoy while making money. My wife may do the same with her quilting hobby. She has been thinking about making quilts and selling them out of our home. Isn’t that what retirement is all about, doing exactly what you want to? Our kids think this is a smart move and so do we. Once we get down there I just need to check the business laws and things like that.
